Here at Fairy Land, we’re fast approaching October, which is just around the corner! And you know what that means, it’s almost Halloween! But before all those festivities, let’s pull out our calendars and mark the upcoming fairy garden events in October. These events bring like-minded people together to celebrate our collective love for all things fairy garden. Here are some exciting fairy garden events coming in October.
Fairy Gardening Workshop, October 6, Grapevine, Texas
Grapevine, Texas fairy garden enthusiasts and first time fairy gardeners are invited to this fun-for-all-ages event which will teach you to spark your imagination. Each participant in this Fairy Gardening Workshop will receive a Fairy Garden Starter Kit and will be given a brief introduction to fairy life. The event is hosted by Marshall Grain Company, located at 3525 William D Tate Avenue, Grapevine, Texas and will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PDT on Saturday, October 6. Fairy Garden Class, October 7, Colora, Maryland
An introductory lesson on how to build a fairy garden will transpire on Sunday, October 7 at at 2 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT, at Blessed Hills Farm & Greenhouse at 825 Rowland Road, Colora, Maryland. This class will feature Mrs. Ellen Larrimore from Buttercups & Fireflies and is organized by Liz Hall. Attendees will be treated to supplies to make their very own fairy garden. Fall Fairy Garden, October 13, Woburn, Massachusetts
If you’ve enjoyed our recent story on Fall-themed fairy gardens, you’ll love this workshop that will take place right next to a fire at McCue Garden Center! Fairy garden lovers will gather at McCue Garden Center on Saturday, October 13 at 4 p.m. EDT for an hour-long session of fun, haunted tales, and tasty s’mores while creating a Fall-themed fairy garden. Kids Fairy Garden Workshop, October 14, Des Plaines, Illinois
Here’s a special treat for all the children who love fairy gardens! The Kids Fairy Garden Workshop will be held on Sunday, October 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. CDT at the Lurvey Center, located at 2550 East Dempster Street, Des Plaines, Illinois. Kids will get a chance to meet a real fairy and make their very own fairy gardens to take home, using materials provided in the event. RSVP through Eventbrite.
